The Aeta community in the Philippines is one of the biggest ethnolinguistic groups that live in some isolated mountainous parts of Luzon. These children are creative, smart, and very orderly. The team decided to go to Brgy. Mainit, Bontoc Mountain Province in celebration of Color Your Life’s first year anniversary. An hour away from Bontoc Town proper is a small village called “Mainit”, a place known for its hot sulfur springs. Apart from such natural beauty, little did we know that Mainit has a loving community that raises wonderful children who participated in “Project Bontoc” last August 19, 2018.

A few moments with us

Color Your Life is a project that aims to promote and enhance the artistic prowess of kids in the communities the team plans to visit. It is a collective action to help Filipino children dig into their basket of creativity by organizing individual and group art workshops. The activities provided by the team will be aligned, of course, with the cultural system that exists in the communities.

What volunteers are saying…

These people are amazing with what they do. They continue to be blessings to people who believe that a helping hand during these trying times is inconceivable. Will always continue to support this organization.

Weekends are worthwhile when spent with Color Your Life (with hopes that children are really the most artistic people in the world!) Kudos to the team. PS: I will vouch for myself to be a forever CYL volunteer!
Michaela Castelo

A truly noble endeavor, which seeks to give more to those who have less in life, spearheaded by a small but tight-knit group of individuals driven by pure volunteerism and compassion. Definitely a cause worth advocating.

My volunteer journey with Color Your Life has been amazing that will remain in my memory forever. Best NGO in the Philippines for children I must say. Always a worthwhile experience every time I join Color Your Life projects and I am planning to do it in the future.
