Around the same time three years ago, we went to Tanay, Rizal for a collaborative project for the Dumagat tribe with our international friends, Mike and Joel. Still grateful up to this day especially to our talented local artists and volunteers who lent their time and effort. It wouldn’t be as successful without them. Then 2020 came, and we faced a pandemic and this froze our mobility. As much as we wanted to visit a community, we found it challenging to plan one.
Now, Color Your Life team is proudly back! And we are going back to Tanay in consideration of the ease of restrictions in the greater Manila area. This time we are collaborating with Rotaract and Rotary Clubs of Midtown Diliman and the Alpha Phi Beta Fraternity, not only to facilitate our usual art program but to hand out as well a basic health and safety orientation to Dumagat Remontados in Sitio Macantog. Calling for donations from our Color Your Life friends and family! Last August, our organization had its own very first fundraising which benefited impoverished communities in partner locations in Manila, Bulacan, and Laguna. We hope you will join us again in our mission to help our Kababayans in the North. In light of recent events, and Cagayan Province's recent situation due to typhoon Ulysses, Color Your Life is working with friends and partners to gather donations for those who were affected by the calamity.
